PRAYER TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR

Dear God, I thank You for making me special, unique and with a special and unique purpose designed by You, for me.  I’ve tried living my way for too long and I have not lived Your way.  The Bible, Your Word, tells me that all of us have sinned, rebelled against You, turned away from You, and fallen way short of how You want us to live.  Your Word also says that the wages of sin, what I deserve for my sin, is eternal death, eternal separation from You.  I admit I have sinned and I ask for Your forgiveness and mercy because of Your great everlasting love for Me that You showed me by Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for me.  I give my life to You and trust You that no matter who or what life throws at me, You will never give up on me.  Therefore, I call on the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  I confess that He is my Lord and Saviour, and still so much more.  I believe in my heart that You God raised Jesus from the dead and because of my confession of faith I am now saved.  I thank You for forgiving me, and for the gift of eternal life.  I thank You that I don’t have to give into sin anymore because I have died with Christ and have been raised to eternal life with Him.  Thank You for the Holy Spirit who now lives in me as guarantee of my salvation until the return of Jesus to bring me home to You.  I thank You that the Holy Spirit has been given to me to help me walk in the Spirit and live for You with faith, hope, love, purpose, promise and with an awesome mission for my life.  Thank You for loving me so much.  I now choose to love You and I give my life to You.  I pray in Jesus’ Name, amen.
